Dish Towel
This lovely Wyoming hand towel was a gift one year for Christmas. My customer thought it was too cool to use, so I framed it!
Children Books
My favorite framing idea is to frame pictures from old books. A customer bought some children's books from Goodwill for less than a $1 each.

Rolling Pin
Trying to buy for that special someone this year? Check out this shadowbox! It's a circa 1870s rolling pin used by a customer's Grandmother and passed on to his Mother. It includes pictures of his Grandparents along with a description written in his Mother's handwriting. How many things do you have stored away that would be a cherished gift for someone this year?

I Love You...................
Yes, sometimes it’s just that simple; here are two examples of how to say “I love you” just right. The first picture is just an example of how your sentiment can be elaborated by your very own makings, and the perfect framing solution. The second is an impromptu note that a boyfriend left for his girlfriend a few years ago written on a supermarket receipt. Yeah, it’s got a big grease stain on it, but doesn't it make it all the more authentic?! It’s floated simply on a red fabric mat and check out how we've made a photocopy of the back of the receipt an adhered it to the back.
Frame By Frame wishes you a wonderful holiday season full of happiness in giving!!

Notice in the wall grouping how the smallest picture holds a large space? A piece that could go unnoticed now becomes a focal point.

Silver Frame
This silver frame with lapped metal detail has an east coast flair that goes so well with this salt box house and clipper ships Needlepoint. Note the hand drawn french lines on the matting that add to a colonial sensibility for this design.
Happy dog!
Happy dog! Made you smile! Check out the very fancy patchwork created out of multiple colors of stripped suede matboard. It is set down inside an open V-groove. It is a slow process to create, but it goes with the dog so perfectly!
Some places to hang art
A cool example of some places to hang art that you may not have thought of...ON a window and on bookcases.

Inexpensive picture frame idea
Inexpensive picture frames (measuring 5 in. x 7 in.) serve as unique trays that can be put to good use long after the cookies or candies have been enjoyed. Cut a decorative piece of paper to the size and place it inside the frame under the glass. Clean the glass and set a cellophane-wrapped loaf of bread or stack of cookies on top. Hold the frame and treat together with a wide ribbon.
No furniture against the wall?
If you have a wall with no furniture against it, take the opportunity to fill it with framed art. Whether you choose one large piece, a matched set like this, or a grouping of miscellaneous pieces, a wall like this is your chance to show off your favorite artwork.
