Float your artwork!

Floater Frames

Canvas Floater Frames -- A Dramatic Difference When Done Right

Sometimes a standard frame treatment just doesn't do what you want it do
And yes, while you may say that standard canvas floater frames have their limitations they are very popular as alternate framing treatments for contemporary paintings.

Professionals and amateurs alike have deferred to using floater frames for a variety or reasons from maximizing the display space to creating the sense a frame that's suspended in the air.

If you've never used one, the canvas floater frame get's its name from the fact that the canvas floater frame doesn't cover the edge of the painting but instead appears to 'float' around the edge. In actuality the painting is anchored to the back of the frame either by its own stretcher of by attaching a stretcher.
